Pre-school Room

In Pre-school there is an emphasis on choice, independence and confidence building. A greater amount of educational activities are also introduced. Staff plan activities carefully within the Early Years’ Foundation Stage framework.

The activities offered aim to engage the children and promote their learning through encouraging each child to become active in their own learning.

The staff will continue to observe and assess your child’s development and educational needs. The assessments will be recorded and form a learning journey of your child’s development whilst they are at the nursery.

You will be able to look through your child’s learning journey at any time; likewise you can also discuss any concerns you may have with your child’s key worker.
