Toddler Room

Children in this group are aged 18 months to 3 years old. Our emphasis is on “learning through play”, all activities are appropriate to the stage and age of the children. We encourage independence
and active learning and balance this with a carefully planned early years’ curriculum that continues to work within the Early Years’ Foundation Stage.

We welcome any child that is not toilet trained and staff are happy to work with you and your child whenever he/she is ready to begin toilet training.

The staff will observe and assess your child’s development and educational needs. The assessments
will be recorded and form a profile of your child’s development whilst they are at the nursery. You will be able to look through your child’s profile at any time; likewise you can also discuss any concerns you may have with your child’s key worker.

We also hold regular parents evenings.
